About CAR ( Compass and Ruler)
CAR is a dynamic geometry program simulating compass and ruler constructions on a computer. C.a.R. can be used free of charge, and the source is available under the GPL license. It is made in Java so it works on all modern platforms. Constructions and assignments can be embedded into web pages easily.

- lots of geometric objects like points, lines, rays, line segments, circles, arcs, angles, polygons and conic sections.
- immediate update of constructions, when a basic point is moved.
- Flexible ways to format objects, text sizes and stroke, including transparency and background objects, partial or total hiding of objects, configurable name display. The display of objects can be subject to conditions.

- Hardware Software Requirements: C.a.R. is a Java program and requires a runtime 1.4 or latter. It is recommended to use the most recent Java version for your system.
